Pro-Palestine / Israel peoples movement – anti-military and government corruption.

Approaching one year of the current violent occupation, this artwork calls for Land Back and an end to the war on Gaza.
The Israeli military has far surpassed its stated purpose, shifting from claims of security toward actions that reflect recolonisation and expansion. In doing so, it has acted in ways that many argue contradict the original leftist liberation movements that emerged in the aftermath of World War II.
This shift has increasingly alienated many of Israel’s own people, particularly amid a global rise in far-right and fascist movements — forces that have, unsurprisingly, exploited both Jewish and Arab communities for political gain.

‘Born to Revolt’ is rooted in both Australia’s oppressive past and its ongoing present, intertwined with my comic series Overgrown — a uniquely Australian story about the liberation of a town suffocated by generational trauma, the weight of this nation’s living struggle, and the haunting presence of restless Dreamtime spirits.
Born to Revolt visualises Australia’s deep-seated issues — issues that extend far beyond land rights, skin colour, and ignorance. They are carved into our very existence through generations of systemic oppression, reducing our survival to nothing more than a political debate.
To truly close the equity gap, we must go further.
We must liberate our people and resist the continuation of modern-day colonisation. To do this, we must reject the system built against us from the very first lie of so-called “friendly contact.”
An inspiration for this piece is the quote:
“Mourn the dead, fight like hell for the living.”
— Mother Jones
Mother Jones (c.1837–1930) was a labour activist who fought for workers’ rights and an end to child labour.
